Sarah Middleton (she/her)
Sarah is a writer originally from Derby. She writes stories about women who break the rules. Sarah trained as an actor at Birmingham Conservatoire and as a librettist with Book, Music & Lyrics. Sarah is an Associated Writer with Middle Child, a recipient of a National Theatre/Peter Shaffer commission and a Peggy Ramsay grant.
She hopes to one day write the libretto for the much-needed Avril Lavigne musical, and her favourite biscuit is custard cream.

Hannah Stone (she/her)
Hannah is a director, theatre maker and producer. She is Co-Artistic Director of The Gramophones Theatre Company who make aerial theatre for families. Hannah co-directed Tarzanna commissioned by Derby Féste & ANOTHER PLANET commissioned by Lakeside Arts. In 2021 she directed Aidy the Awesome commissioned by Curve Leicester which did a digital tour. “Fastmoving & feisty – a comic heroine for girls to emulate”(The Stage). It recently toured across the UK.
In 2019 Hannah directed Pinocchio for the Playhouse which has recently been remounted for the Mercury Theatre in Colchester. Last year Hannah was Assistant Director on Beauty and the Beast at Nottingham Playhouse and this year was assistant on the 50th anniversary show, 71 Coltman Street at Hull Truck. Last year Hannah directed SHEWOLVES by Sarah Middleton which was chosen as one of the Stage’s top shows at Edinburgh Fringe. This Christmas she directed a new version of Goldilocks by Anna Wheatley for the Nottingham Playhouse.
